    They must have held all that gas for a HELL of a long time. Closing was just the pinnicle of a lot of bad ideas, after have one good one.

    Yahoo was like...good intentions, laced with poor quality and a sticky odor that we couldn't wash out of our clothes.
    360 was like a hot bath! After a while it wasn't so hot anymore! Seemed ok when we started.
    And yet....we may have never found The Wizards Lair without them (Yahoo 360).
    What have we gotten ourselves into?

    Really?? And here I thought most of the traffic flowed the other direction (from the Lair to the 360). Interesting.

    I personally found The Lair through 360. I may be different than most, as I have always been told about a great many things, but truth be told it was the 360 page I found first.
    Now I've got your Blogger page and The Lair in my favorites, so when 360 is gone, I can still keep updated.

    That is interesting. I found the 360 blog through The Lair. I've been following The Lair since before I even found Superheroine Central I think. Man that seems like forever ago. I also found your Deviant page through the lair as well.

Wow. And, double wow! Last year was, what I thought, a fluke when The Wizard's Lair took the silver in the Bondage Awards 'Best Free Bondage Website'. But, this year, with the number of people that had been nominated, I thought I would be lucky if we broke the Top Ten. And, truth be known, I was increasingly skeptical of even making that threshold. The Wizard's Lair is the DOWNFALL of the Superheroine in Distress Genre!

Seems of late I have been reading quite a bit about the failure of some pay sites within the community are closing down. Some are putting the blame on peer-to-peer sites in general, while others are placing the blame on The Wizard ’ s Lair in particular. Now, without knowing the financial specifics of each and every website that is closing down and/or losing money, how can anyone place any blame on any one thing in particular, or even accuse a single website, it ’ s webmaster, and it ’ s contributors for contributing to the financial decline of these sites? When I look around, I see that everyone is feeling the financial pinch, influenced largely by the (ever) rising cost of fuel, which has a cascading effect on everything from car sales, to food costs. People all over are doing everything that they can to save money, from driving less, to canceling vacations, and to eliminating discretionary expenses, of which would include memberships to websites. Secure in one's Sexuality

Before anyone jumps on me as being anti-gay, let me say that my brother was gay (no, he didn't change... he died of AIDS), I have a number of friends that are gay, I have worked with gays and have no personal issues with them in regards to their sexuality. I know that people have no choice in such matters. It is not like they picked up a book about gays and lesbians and said "Ah ha! This is exactly what I want to be!". In any case, this is not a blog about gays and lesbians, as much as it is about heterosexuals and their reaction to lesbians. The other day I was at Break.com when I came across yet another entry for a video of two lesbians kissing. Such a thing doesn't do a thing for me, and indeed, I am kinda tired of such things being thrown at me all the time, either from within magazines, or on television, or in the movies... well, you get the point.
